Shipping Policy
Bert's Buccaneer Indian Motorcycle

Thank you for shopping with Bert's Buccaneer Indian Motorcycle. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process and ship orders placed through our online store.
Order Processing
- Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
- Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days of order confirmation.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM ET, on weekends, or on holidays begin processing the next business day.
- During promotions, new product launches, or high-volume periods, processing may take an additional 1–2 business days. We will notify you if your order is delayed.
Shipping Carriers
We ship via UPS, FedEx, and USPS for parcel orders. Oversized or freight items ship via LTL freight carriers. The carrier is selected based on order size, weight, and destination.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
We ship to all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Estimated delivery times after shipment:
- Standard Ground: 3–7 business days
- Expedited: 2–3 business days
- Overnight: 1 business day (where available)
Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories may require additional transit time.
Freight & Oversized Items
Larger parts and accessories — including but not limited to exhaust systems, fairings, wheels, tires, and saddlebags — may ship via LTL freight. Freight shipments require:
- A valid daytime phone number for delivery scheduling
- Inspection of the shipment upon delivery before signing
- Notation of any visible damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves
If damage is found after the driver has left, freight claims become significantly harder to process. Please inspect carefully.
Restricted Items
Certain products contain hazardous materials (HAZMAT) — batteries, oils, fluids, aerosols, and similar items — and are subject to ground-only shipping. These items cannot ship via air, expedited service, or to PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or internationally.
Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Allow up to 24 hours for tracking to update after the label is created.
Local Pickup
Live near the dealership? Select Local Pickup at checkout to skip shipping fees and grab your order from our location at 7006 East Adamo Dr, Tampa FL 33619. We will email you when your order is ready, typically within 1 business day.
Pickup hours: Please call 813-540-5300 to confirm current pickup hours.
Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID. Orders not picked up within 14 days may be returned to stock and refunded, less any applicable restocking fees.
International Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only.
(Alternate wording if you want to offer international: "We ship internationally to select countries. Rates and transit times vary by destination and are calculated at checkout. International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees, which are the responsibility of the recipient.")
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We are not responsible for packages lost or delayed due to incorrect addresses. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, you will be responsible for return shipping and re-ship costs.
Lost or Damaged Packages
- Lost packages: If tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, please check with neighbors and your local carrier within 48 hours. Contact us if it does not turn up — we will help open a carrier claim.
- Damaged packages: Inspect your order upon arrival. If damaged, photograph the box and contents and contact us within 5 business days of delivery so we can file a claim and resolve the issue.
Motorcycle Delivery
New and pre-owned motorcycle purchases are handled separately from online parts and accessory orders. Delivery options, transport fees, and timelines are arranged directly with our sales team. Contact us at [phone] or [email] to coordinate.
